DESCRIPTION

Overview of an eAssist Success Consultant:

Success Consultants provide Dental Billing, Insurance Verification, Patient Billing and other services for dental office clients, through our platform, and conveniently from their own home offices.  This incredibly valuable role creates relationships with our clients, provides them with Peace of Mind, and allows the office team to focus on other tasks while we take care of their billing and other needs behind the scenes.  Whether you still work in a dental office or if you want to jump into eAssist fully engaged, we have opportunities that fit with your life!   

 

Patient Billing Success Consultant Opportunity Details:

Patient Billing Consultants are part of a team that is responsible for meeting our Brand Promises of:  

  • Complete, follow up on and properly document a minimum of 6 collection attempts for all outstanding patient balances in order to collect what is rightfully owed to the practice
  • Respond to all patient questions with impeccable service, within 48 hours, and with proper documentation in the practice management software
  • Provide accurate reporting on every patient appointment with an unpaid balance within 24 hours of service
  • Follow up on all outstanding balances at least every 30 days with monthly statements in order to collect what is rightfully owed to the practice. 

Once you receive your first opportunity, you will be teamed up with an experienced Lead Success Consultant and a Team Leader.  They will help you navigate the needs of your first eAssist platform client and help you create processes in order to fulfill our Brand Promises. 

Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of dedicated experience working; most recently in the last 12 months preferred
  • Have a dedicated work space, reliable computer meeting our IT requirements, printer and high speed internet
  • Be highly detail oriented with excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Score high on the EOB portion of the dental billing assessment 
  • Are self directed, know how to effectively set goals, and work independently
  • Desire to own your own business and be your own boss

 

Ideal Candidate:  

Patient Billing is an opportunity for disciplined, detail-oriented people. You must be able to review account ledgers quickly and efficiently. Also review payments and EOBs with detail to make sure appropriate payments and adjustments were made.

Communication is a BIG part of this role – not only with the eAssist team for adjustment or clarification of payments, but also with the office in regards to patients and their payments. You will also be tasked with calling patients to answer any questions they may have after receiving a statement. It is recommended that you schedule a minimum of one evening during the week to make calls on patient accounts over 60 days old.  

 

You must send out 3 statements and 3 collection letters over a period of time to try and collect on overdue balances. You will also need to be in touch with the office to set-up payment plans for patients with office approval. There is also the opportunity to work with a collection agency if the office is interested in having you take on that communication as well.
