How eAssist Changed Lindcee’s Life

Lindcee had been with the same employer for almost 13 years. Even though she described it as a great job, she was spending at least two hours commuting in addition to an 8-10 hour workday. She had too much stress and anxiety, too little flexibility and life balance, and her health was beginning to suffer.

Being laid off during the pandemic nearly two years ago was the catalyst for Lindcee realizing she wanted more from her career and her life overall. Despite fear of the unknown, she heeded the advice of a good friend and long-time eAssister and made the leap to become a Success Consultant on the eAssist dental billing platform. “It was beyond the best decision I’ve ever made because I realized that I needed to focus on what was really important – my health, my home life, and my family,” she recalled.

Lindcee’s organization skills were soon recognized and she was given the opportunity to also serve in a Project Manager role. She has since progressed to Director of Full Schedule, one of the eAssist platform’s newest services that offers a unique, patient-centered communication plan to help re-engage and schedule patients on a recurring basis. Lindcee appreciates being able to help patients, help practices fill their schedules, help the company and other eAssisters.

She is often asked if she feels alone working from home, instead of being in an office with co-workers. Lindcee’s response? – “I get to work with co-workers within the eAssist platform every day. We email all the time. We get to attend webinars and training. I learn something new every day and get to know people all over the country.”

For Lindcee, life is not about the destination, it’s about the journey. She described her journey by saying, “I’m so lucky and fortunate that my journey continues every day with eAssist. Becoming part of the eAssist platform has been one of the best changes in my life and in my family’s life. My overall health is better and the flexibility is amazing. I used to feel empty knowing I was in a position that I didn’t see going anywhere, but now I feel so full and grateful getting to do something I really love, and knowing career opportunities are endless with eAssist!”
